I look forward to the opportunity to work with a serious group of players who wish to excel at the Varsity, Junior, and University levels. This camp will be based on an overspeed skating format where the players will be challenged in a competitive environment.
Areas of emphasis will be on the following:
• European flow drills will be utilized to increase puck movement and ice awareness
• Heavy emphasis on a skater’s stride and overall skating technique
• Training for defensemen and forwards through situational play
• Defensive coverage drills as well as some small area games
• Competition drills featuring 1-1’s, 2-1’s, and 2-2’s will be utilized
